Katerina Bondarenko wins the tournament in Tashkent

Katerina Bondarenko won the WTA tournament in Tashkent with a prize fund of 250 thousand dollars!.

In the final of the tournament, the Ukrainian in two sets beat the 52nd world racket Hungarian Timaea Babosh: 6: 4, 6: 4.

In the first game there was an equal fight to the score 3: 3, but in the seventh game Bondarenko managed to break and 4: 3. Further rivals took their filing, Katya realized she won the set from the second set-bola.



Further advantage of the Ukrainian was more tangible, as in the third game she led 3-0 with two breaks. One feed Baboch played, but then Katya acted more confidently, winning the match from the second match-bola.

For Bondarenko this is the second single WTA title in his career. The first was won back in 2008 in Birmingham.

The victory allowed the Ukrainian to climb almost 50 positions in the rating and return to the TOP-100.
