Ukrainian rowers won two bronze medals at the World Championships in Czech Racice.

Our team consisting of Denis Kovalenko, Vitali Vergeles, Denis Kamerilov and Eduard Shemetilo finished third in the canoe-four at a distance of 1000 meters. Ukrainians showed the time 3:17. 198 min. The Germans were the first to finish, while the representatives of Poland became silver prizewinners.

One more "bronze" was obtained by kayaker Oleg Kukharik at a distance of 500 meters, which with the best result qualified for the final, and in the decisive swim took third place (1:38. 483 min).

Let us note that these awards were the first for the national team of Ukraine in the world championship in the Czech Republic. Earlier, the closest to the podium was Maria Povkh and Lyudmila Kuklinovskaya, who reached the finish line fourth in the kayak-deuce at 500 meters.
