An ambulance took the victim to the hospital, the boy was conscious.
Vitaly Odarchuk, a pediatric orthopedist-traumatologist and head of the trauma center of the Khmelnitsky City Hospital, spoke about how the child was saved.. “First of all, we were surprised that the child was brought, he was even still crying, he was conscious. At the first examination, several serious injuries were not found, the doctor said. – After hospitalization, the child was immediately taken to the intensive care unit, where a multidisciplinary team of doctors was involved in his care. Thanks to quick and well-coordinated work, serious consequences were avoided and the child’s life was saved.

Vitaly Odarchuk reported that the boy’s recovery was rapid, and already in the second week of treatment the child demonstrated high motor activity. The boy's condition is currently stable and the prognosis for recovery is favorable.. The doctor explained that injuries from falling from such a height are considered high-energy (that is, injuries caused by exposure to extremely large mechanical, kinetic or thermal forces. – Ed.
