A powerful hurricane swept in the west of Ukraine, as a result of which several regional centers partially went under water. A strong increase in water level was recorded in Lviv and Lutsk. A natural disaster led to problems with the transport message and flooding of houses. This was reported by local media and city authorities.

According to the Lviv City Council, in the regional center in places the water level reaches almost three meters. However, the city hall clarified that in this case we are talking about non -residential areas.

It is also reported that after strong rainfall, the doskeu river continues to leave the shores. In this regard, there is a threat of flooding of part of the Frankovsky, Sykhov and Railway areas.

In Lviv, they assured that city services work in intensified mode. At the same time, the local authorities turned to the residents with a request to transfer things from the basements to a safe place, as well as move cars from underground parking and potentially dangerous areas.

Strong rains also took place in the Volyn region, as a result of which there was a violation of the work of communal transport in the regional center. The dispatcher of the Lutsk enterprise of electric vehicles Raisa Mishchuk told the publication "

35 trolleybuses work on routes in Lutsk on July 10. Due to weather conditions in the regional center of Volyn, trolleybuses temporarily stopped moving for the first time this summer.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, in the near future, rainy weather will prevail in the western regions. Strong showers are predicted during July 10 on Volyn, in Rivne, Khmelnitsky, Ternopol and Lviv regions.
