In Sumy region, border guards detained a man without documents who tried to illegally cross the border.
The press service of the State Border Guard Service informs.
" After the arrest, the offender identified himself as a citizen of Ukraine, but later admitted that he was a citizen of the Russian Federation, as proof of this, a photocopy of his passport was found in his possession. The document itself, according to a 35-year-old man, he buried somewhere in the forest, "
The detainee was issued administrative proceeding documents for attempting to illegally cross the state border.
