Another suspect was detained in Moldova in the case of the probable abduction of the Ukrainian ex-judge Nikolai Chaus.

The Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases of Moldova (PCCOCS) is to file an application for the man's preliminary detention on May 11.

According to the incriminated articles, he faces imprisonment for a term of 6 to 10 years.

The judge was kidnapped in Chisinau on April 3, later the Minister of Internal Affairs of Moldova Pavel Voicu said that the suspects had left for Ukraine.
