A memorandum of cooperation to consolidate efforts to preserve documented facts about crimes in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donetsk and Luhansk regions, providing for the creation of an appropriate Internet portal, was signed by the Representation of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, the International Fund.

The signing took place at the Office of the President of Ukraine, according to the website of the head of state.

“On behalf of the President of Ukraine and in order to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine, de-occupation and reintegration of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, the team of the Representative Office systematically works towards the implementation of policies and the foundations of transitional justice. Everyone's right to know the truth about the events of the occupation of Crimea is, of course, one of the important and obligatory elements of our work in this direction, "

It is assumed that the online resource will contain a variety of data, in particular: eyewitness accounts, archival sources, media information, decisions and resolutions of international organizations, photo and video materials.

“At first, these will be the first 30 stories about crimes committed in the temporarily occupied territory: human rights, war crimes, ecology, economics and so on.. A system with a convenient search will work: by persons, by places, by time "

The key requirement for the entire project is reliability, objectivity and based on official data. In particular, the portal will be based on the results of the work of the Department of Supervision of Criminal Proceedings in relation to crimes committed in armed conflict, the Office of the Prosecutor General, facts and evidence documented by non-governmental organizations..
