Students of KPI became absolute champions of Ukraine in programming

In Vinnitsa, the final of the All-Ukrainian Student Programming Olympiad, which coincided with the semi-final of the ACM ICPC International Student Programming Olympiad, was completed.

In total, 85 teams of technical universities from Eastern and Southern Europe competed at two sites in Ukraine and Romania. A team of three students of NTU "KPI" bypassed rivals from Kiev and Lvov and won first place in Ukraine and fourth - in South-Eastern Europe, the press service of the university notes.

The first 10 places in the international tournament are distributed as follows..

All students - Andrey Cherevko, Vladislav Matz and Mikhail Babenko study at the Department of Computer Mathematics and Data Analysis of NTU "KPI" under the guidance of Professor Leonid Lyubchik. Before that, polytechnics passed all stages of regional competitions, beating more than 2 thousand of their students-participants.

After the victory in Ukraine, Andrey Cherevko, Vladislav Matz and Mikhail Babenko received vouchers for the final of the World Student Programming Olympiad, which will be held from March 31 to April 4, 2019 in Porto, Portugal.
