Workers of the patrol police response sector of the Chuguevsky police department have discovered a munition from an apartment building in the Chuguevsky district of the Kharkov region.
As the press service of the police of Kharkov region, at night the police squad left on a call for a family quarrel. During the work at the scene, police noticed a RGD-5 grenade strewn with sand near the house.
The 35-year-old resident of the Chuguevsky district explained to law enforcement officers that he "found a munition in the forest", brought home and hid near the house without a specific purpose.
Evidence has been seized and directed to a study.
Criminal proceedings were opened on h. 1 st. 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 3 to 7 years.
