In Japan, on Thursday, July 26, the last six death-sentenced members of the radical sect Aum Shinrikyo were executed,. This information was confirmed by Justice Minister Yoko Kamikawa. The founder of the sect Shoko Asahara and six of his followers were executed in early July.

On March 20, 1995, members of Aum Shinrikyo in the morning rush sprays a deadly gas sarin in the Tokyo metro. As a result, 13 people were killed, more than six thousand were injured and injured.

Through this attack, the sectarians wanted to prevent the police from conducting a search at the headquarters of Aum Shinrikyo at the foot of the sacred Mount Fujiyama. It was the first terrorist attack in the world with the use of poison gas.

Asahara was arrested on May 16, 1995. After the longest judicial marathon in Japan, a half-blind guru and 12 of his followers were sentenced in Tokyo to be hanged in 2006. They were found guilty of involvement in the terrorist attack in the Tokyo Metro and other murders, a total of 27 items.
