In the village of Karlovka (Donetsk region) today, June 26, was launched Karlovsky Pumping Station, which will provide uninterrupted water supply to over 300 thousand people in the Donetsk region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for Temporary Occupied Territories.
The station restoration project is one of the largest humanitarian projects, the implementation of which was provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross. It is reported that the station was invested over two years more than 23 million hryvnia.
"The launch of the Karlovskaya pumping station will allow to continuously supply drinking water to more than 355 000 inhabitants of the western part of Donbass and prevent a repetition of the situation when, due to the destruction of pumping stations, a significant part of local residents remained without centralized water supply," the ministry said..
