From June 16 to June 18 in the city of Brovary (Kiev region), the summer championship of Ukraine on swimming among juniors was held, where Kharkov won 1 gold, 9 silver and 8 bronze medals.

Champion of Ukraine at the distance of 50 m freestyle was Kharkiv Tatiana Evminova. Also on her account were silver medals at the 200m range with complex swimming, 400m in complex swimming and 100m freestyle, and a bronze medal at a 100m butterfly distance.

In addition, the Kharkov swimmers won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals in the relay races. Taisia ??Korostiy, Evgenia Stetsurina, Margarita Strutinskaya and Karina Snitko took the second place in the relay 4x100 m freestyle.

In the women's combined relay race 4x100 m, Taisia ??

Korostiy, Anna Skirda, Tatyana Evminova and Karina Snitko became bronze medalists.

Also third place Taisia ??Korosty, Yaroslav Koshchienko, Margarita Strutinskaya and Daniel Storozhev took in the mixed relay 4x100m freestyle.

In total, 331 athletes from 20 regions of Ukraine and Kiev took part in the championship, and according to its results in the team event the team of Kharkiv region took the fourth place. Victory in this indicator was for the swimmers of the Kiev region.
