Muscovites, who are much more likely than other residents of Russia to be abroad, would largely prefer to live and work abroad. This is evidenced by the results of a study conducted by the "Levada Center", reports "Rain". According to sociologists, every fifth inhabitant of the city would like to emigrate.

In this connection, it should be noted that only one-quarter of the citizens of the Russian Federation have a valid passport, and only a third of Russians have been abroad at least once in their lives.

An open visa to another country is available only for every 10 residents of the country (9%),.

At the same time, more than half of Muscovites (56%) have foreign passports, at least two thirds of city residents have visited abroad at least once, and an open visa has 20%.

The survey also showed that respondents with higher education are four times more likely to visit abroad than their less educated compatriots, wealthy Russians - five times more likely than the poor.
