The residents of Kamensk-Uralsky are shocked by the accomplishment that the municipality authorities conducted in the poplar garden. As part of the improvement, the workers were croding all the trees without exception, and now the park looks like some kind of post-apocalyptic grove, which must have been carried low-low by the alien spaceship. Instead of hundreds of large and healthy trees in the park, there are now hundreds of blanks without crowns, side branches and leaves.

The vandalism of the authorities of the municipality was reported by the activist of the public movement "Civil Patrol" Mikhail Soloviev. According to him, the residents of the municipality are shocked by the work of the amenities services. And, no one has removed the trunks and branches that were cut off, they are covered with the whole square.

Against tree rooting, there are environmentalists and many bloggers. In particular, blogger Ilya Varlamov regards this process as a corruption scheme for budget development. According to him, the tree that has survived lives no more than three years, after which it is removed and a new tree is planted.

In turn, poplars have disadvantages. First, poplar down in addition to allergic reactions can provoke fires. And because of the weak trunks, poplars often fall in the presence of hurricanes.
