All-Russian Union of Insurers reminded Sverdlov residents of the deadlines for free medical care in hospitals. These standards were approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 8, 2017 No. 1492.

Primary health care in emergency form should be provided within two hours from the moment the patient is referred to the medical organization.

The waiting period for admission by GP physicians, district doctors, general practitioners, family doctors, pediatrician district doctors - no more than 24 hours from the time of contact with a medical organization.

A person under the MHI policy must receive a specialist consultation within 14 days after contacting the hospital.

The term of diagnostic instrumental, including X-ray studies (including mammography), functional diagnostics, ultrasound and laboratory studies in the provision of primary health care - no more than 14 calendar days from the day of appointment.

CT, including single-photon emission computed tomography, MRI and angiography to the patient should be conducted no later than 30 calendar days from the day of appointment.

The waiting time for the provision of specialized, except for high-tech, medical care - no more than 30 calendar days from the date of issuing the referral for hospitalization.

The waiting time for the provision of specialized, except for high-tech, medical care - no more than 14 days for patients with cancer from the moment of histological verification of the tumor or diagnosis.

The time for the ambulance crew to reach the patient when providing emergency medical assistance in emergency form is no more than 20 minutes from the time of call.

In territorial programs, the time of arrival can be reasonably corrected taking into account transport access, population density, as well as climatic and geographical peculiarities of the regions.

Medical assistance in emergency form should be provided by medical organizations and medical personnel without delay. Refusal to provide it is not allowed.
