Major SBU caught on a bribe of three thousand dollars. According to the press service of the military prosecutor's office of the Western region of Ukraine, the detention took place on Friday, February 9.

The Military Prosecutor's Office, together with the local police, as part of the control over the commission of the crime, documented the extortion and receipt of improper benefit by the officer in charge of the second department of the Sixth Directorate of the Main Directorate of Military Counterintelligence of the Department of Counterintelligence of the Security Service.

At the same time, the detainee acted on a preliminary conspiracy in a group with three citizens. The attackers received this amount from the representative of the enterprise and promised him not to create artificial obstacles in carrying out the entrepreneurial activity of this company. The funds were found and seized in full during the inspection of the scene of the incident.

Currently, priority investigative actions are carried out, as well as searches at the place of work and residence of persons involved in the case.

Now the issue of detaining the above-mentioned persons in the order of the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being obtained. Obtaining undue benefits, combined with extortion.
