According to the Analytical Center of the Heritage Foundation, which ranked, Ukraine ranked 44th in Europe and 150th among 180 countries. As it says on the site of the center, for the year Ukraine received 51.9 points, hitting in the group of countries "mostly not free". Her overall score increased by 3.8 points.

At the same time, Ukraine improved its positions on 8 out of 12 indicators. In particular, the situation in the sphere of investment.

At the same time, the country occupies the lowest place among 44 states in Europe, and its average score is lower than the average world and regional. Experts of the analytical center note that Ukraine has made significant progress in reforming, has become more democratic and transparent. At the same time, the center believes that further struggle against corruption, development of capital markets, privatization, improvement of legislation is necessary. The authors of the rating also declare a corrupt judicial system in Ukraine.

Total in the rating are reviews on 180 countries. The most free economies in the world are Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand, Switzerland, Australia and Ireland. The worst situation in Cuba, in Venezuela and North Korea.
