The level of water in the canals of Venice fell and it became impossible to swim with them - the gondoliers were completely out of work, reports the main link to "Channel 5".
Because of low tides and total absence of rain, the water level fell immediately by 60 cm below the norm. Tourists who came to Venice and want to ride a gondola - disappointed.
The municipal services of the city try to fill the channels with the help of artificial water inflow, but this is not enough to solve the problem.
Last year, the water level dropped at all to 70 centimeters below the norm, which made it impossible to move on the gondola.
