In Ukraine, before the end of 2018, the emergency aviation units will start operating, said Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.
"I think that, as determined by us at the initiative of the Minister of the Interior, we will make emergency aviation in the country. I think that by the end of the year we will launch such units, "Groysman said at a government meeting.
According to him, this will allow, if necessary, to promptly deliver patients to medical institutions.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on rural medicine in November 2017. As the Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing of Ukraine Gennady Zubko noted, the main goal of the law is to provide quality medical examinations in rural areas, timely detection of diseases, especially in the early genetic stages, systemic surveillance of certain groups of patients, preventive and improving activities.
According to the minister, today basic medicine in the village is practically eliminated.
In 23 thousand villages and settlements - 4 thousand outpatient clinics and 12,7 thousand feldshersko-obstetric points. Their technical condition is deplorable. In 75% of them there is no water supply, in 82% of rural dispensaries there are no sanitary facilities. The FAP has become an intermediate point through which the patient is transported from point "A" to point "B" - to a region or region where there is a certain level of medicine.
