Among the countries to which the innovation will be applied is the Russian Federation. As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, this decision was taken in pursuance of the Decree of the President of Ukraine.

The document, in particular, says that Ukraine strengthens control over the entry into the country, for the departure of foreigners and stateless persons from Ukraine, as well as compliance with the rules of staying on the territory of Ukraine.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, State Border Service of Ukraine on December 27 began testing a biometric control system in two locations on the Russian-Ukrainian border.

The fixing of biometric data on the Ukrainian border will concern all foreigners without exception, regardless of the country of origin.

In case of refusal by a foreigner to scan fingerprints with such persons, control of the second line is carried out, according to the results of which a decision is made to pass through the state border.
