The fire arose this morning, December 23 at the Central London Zoo. More than 100 rescuers and firefighters arrived at the scene. The fire began in the Animal Adventure section, and then spread to grocery stores and cafes. Then the fire began to spread to the mammalian department. Employees reported a heavy loss to their zoo, a rare species of African chimney beetle died, and four more of his meerkats fled with him. As a result of the fire, nine people were injured, one of them in serious condition is in intensive care.
