In the Dnieper, students developed an automated drone capable of detecting and capturing enemy unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported to the Dnipro News in the engineering school Noosphere.

According to her, the corresponding project "DronHunter-I" was presented in the framework of the student tournament Star Track in the Dnieper, where students and graduates of universities presented their developments.

According to the authors of the draft of the drone, the only analog of the Dnipro development is a drone with a wire mesh used by the Japanese police. However, unlike the Japanese, the domestic project is fully automated - it does not need an operator.
