The governor of the Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev has signed a tripartite agreement on the development of volunteerism in the Sverdlovsk region, the governor's DIP reports.
The document was signed with the Association of Volunteer Centers and the Resource Center for Volunteering "The Power of the Urals" in the framework of the execution of instructions of the President of Russia.
"Young people of the Sverdlovsk region are actively involved in volunteer activities. Ural volunteers performed well at world-class events - the World Summer Universiade in Kazan, the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi. Volunteers worked at the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM, accompanied the guests of the first World Congress of People with Disabilities, helped to hold the World Festival of Youth and Students. Ahead - World Cup and EXPO-2025. I have no doubt that the Ural volunteers will work at the highest level, "said Evgeny Kuyvashev.
The Federation is ready to disseminate the experience of the Sverdlovsk Region in other regions.

The Sverdlovsk Region is included in the list of 15 pilot regions where volunteer resource centers have been created. "Such centers are aimed at training, supporting volunteers," said Vladislav Ovchinnikov, Executive Director of the Resource Center for Volunteering "The Power of the Urals".
Today in the region there are 350 volunteer organizations.
