According to the information of the agency, a number of officials of the company "Zaporizhzhya NPP" GP NNEGC "Energoatom" with the help of the corruption scheme took over 300 thousand hryvnia enterprises.

A group of persons in collusion could illegally withdraw the necessary amount bypassing the company's accounts.

The criminal case was sent to the Enerhodarsky District Court of the Zaporozhye region. Prosecutors say that all criminals face at least eight years of imprisonment without the right to re-occupy posts.

In Ukraine, since early 2017, the number of cases of bribery by officials has increased several fold. A recent incident occurred in Kiev, where an official was detained for appropriating the land of the bulk.

As reported in the "URA-Inform", the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine is currently investigating the fact of embezzlement and appropriation of budgetary funds during the completion of works on the arrangement of the Ukrainian-Russian state border.
