According to the Chief of the General Staff Viktor Muzhenko, all military exercises will be held within the framework of the preparation of the Ukrainian army for conducting defensive, stabilization and combat operations, including in connection with the Russian-Belarussian military exercises "West-2017".

Almost all combat military units of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces have been put on combat readiness today in order to check the readiness for carrying out tasks for the purpose.
