The Leninsky District Court of Nizhny Tagil handed down the verdict to Anastasia Kononova, former chief accountant of the SOGUP "Regional Real Estate Center" branch of "Gornozavodskoe BTI". She was found guilty under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code (misappropriation, that is, stealing someone else's property entrusted to the guilty person, committed by a person using his official position, on a particularly large scale).

From June 2011 to October 2015, the defendant, using her official position, appropriated the company's own 15.7 million rubles.

So, the chief accountant repeatedly entered in the registers for the transfer of wages inaccurate information, made electronic payment orders and sent them to the bank to transfer money to her personal card accounts. Then she abducted them at the expense of the money withheld from the wages of the employees of the branch as personal income tax and other mandatory payments.

The court sentenced Kononov to a four-year sentence of imprisonment with a general regime correctional colony. Also, damages were levied against it in favor of SOGUP "Regional Real Estate Center" worth over 14.8 million rubles.
