Kushvinsky deputy was caught on a bribe

Investigative bodies of the TFR in the Sverdlovsk region opened a criminal case against the deputy of the Duma of the Kushvinsky urban district, suspected of committing a crime under part 5 of Article 291. 1 of the Criminal Code (the promise or offer of mediation in bribery). The punishment for committing the specified crime is provided for up to 7 years of imprisonment with a fine of up to thirty times the bribe amount.

In August 2017, the deputy with the receipt of money was detained by FSB officers.

According to the investigation, the local resident transferred the money for helping to stop the criminal case for fraud.

"Currently, the investigator of the investigation department in the city of Kushva of the regional SDR together with the officers of the FSB of the Russian Federation for the Sverdlovsk region continues to perform a set of investigative actions and operational measures to establish all the circumstances of the crime committed and to collect evidence.
