On this today, August 15, reports Yonhap.

"Out of a total of $ 2,800,000 and $ 2,500,000 will be provided in accordance with UNICEF and WFP to address the health problems of drought victims and prevent diseases associated with drought," reads the UN report.

Because of the drought that began in April this year, the main regions of North Korea, where they grow crops, have suffered very large losses.

In different regions of North Korea, drought led to a crop loss. In different areas, the drought destroyed from 16% to 59% of the total crop, rice fields were particularly affected.

Recall, as reported by URA-Inform, Beijing called on Pyongyang to comply with the UN Security Council resolutions. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Wang Yi, called on South Korea and the US not to commit provocative actions.
