Lukashenka said this on July 11 at a meeting on the priorities of Belarus' foreign policy at the current stage, the Belarusian partisan.

"It is necessary to take a fresh look at the issue of the return of cultural property to the country," said Lukashenko, stressing that this is an integral element of the formation of the spiritual identity of our nation.

According to him, work in this direction should be conducted from the angle of "the Belarusian heritage in the world".

Recall that most of Belarusian cultural values, including, as some historians believe, and the famous Cross of Euphrosyne of Polotsk, were exported to Russia in Soviet times.
