Investigators of the prosecutor's office found that the carriers responsible for the removal of garbage from the city of Lviv provided services for the disposal of waste created at the end of 2016, a number of enterprises in the city of the Dnieper. According to the press service of the prosecutor's office in the Lviv region, these enterprises do not have any equipment or landfills for solid domestic waste, they also do not have the vehicles necessary for the disposal of waste and they do not possess real estate and do not have employees.

At the same time, the founders, managers and accountants of these enterprises are people who did not even know about the existence of these enterprises, as well as persons who received money for participation in the registration of fictitious enterprises.

Investigators also found that after the tragedy at the Gribovitsky landfill and as of today, the carriers filed documents on behalf of fictitious enterprises about the alleged acceptance and disposal of waste, on the basis of which they received funds from the city budget of Lviv.

Thus, carriers illegally dumped garbage in places not allotted for this purpose throughout the territory of Ukraine.

The police conducted 15 searches on the territory of Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk and Kiev regions and seized documents, printing fictitious enterprises and computer equipment. A criminal case was opened and the issue of informing guilty persons about suspicion of committing criminal offenses.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, police in the Chernihiv region found five trucks with Lviv garbage near the village of Novaya Basan in Bobrovitsky district, on the highway "Kiev-Sumy".
