Who is most trusted by Ukrainians (survey)

The population of Ukraine trusts, first of all, volunteer organizations, the Church, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard, as evidenced by the April poll of the Razumkov Center.

According to the results of the social research, 66% of respondents trusted volunteer organizations, the Church - 63.3%, the Armed Forces of Ukraine - 55.9%, the National Guard of Ukraine - 49%. Volunteer movement (territorial defense) expresses the confidence of 45.2% of Ukrainians, the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies - 45%.

The report indicates that the number of respondents who trust these institutions at a statistically significant level exceeds the number of those who do not trust them.

Only 22% of respondents trusted the president of Ukraine, 71.9% do not trust him, the government - 12.8% and 81.9%, the National Bank - 11.7% and 81.5%, the Verkhovna Rada - 9% and 86, 6%, the prosecutor's office - 9.5% and 83.3%, courts - 7% and 86.6%. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine can count on the confidence of 21.3% of respondents, a negative response was given by 64.8%. 7.9% of respondents expressed confidence in the state apparatus (officials) (against 87%).

Political parties (8.6% and 83.5%), commercial banks (10.4% and 83.9%), the mass media of Russia (3.4% and 85.2%) also have an extremely low level of trust..

Actions of the president of Ukraine are fully supported by 4.4% of respondents, for individual actions - 39.1%, do not support - 51.7%. The actions of the government - respectively, 2.4%, 29%, 61.9%, the actions of the Prime Minister - 3.9%, 31.3% and 57.9%, the Verkhovna Rada - 1.9%, 25.2% 67.5%, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada - 2.7%, 25.1%, 62%, the NBU - 2.3%, 17.3% and 67.3%.

The research was conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from April 21 to 26, 2017.

2018 respondents over 18 years of age were interviewed in all regions of Ukraine, with the exception of the Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, according to a sample representing the adult population by main socio-demographic indicators. The sample of the survey was built as a multi-stage, random with a quota selection of respondents at the last stage. The theoretical sampling error (excluding the design effect) does not exceed 2.3% with a probability of 0.95.
