The way in Crimea was the 73rd anniversary of the deportation of Crimean Tatars - a clear illustration of what modern Russia is like.
Because the entire post-Soviet experience of celebrating this date came at the Ukrainian period, when the state was weak and unat- munified. And this lack of a vertical was felt in everything: Kiev's favorite position was the ostrich's posture - if it was possible to avoid making a decision, it was not accepted. The state did not interfere and did not help - it distanced itself from any subjectivity and responsibility. Half-rate as a norm.
And Russia is an example of what statism looks like. The very ideology that implies the leading role of the state in any politico-social stirring. When the right of a State to intervene in everything is considered the norm.
Moreover, modern Russia is trying to control even grief. After the April terrorist attacks in the St. Petersburg metro, the authorities did not hesitate to organize a mourning rally, to which the paid extras were collected by announcements. 400 rubles for several hours of public citizenship.
Someone will say that the authorities do not believe in the ability of Russians to unite, but because they are trying to fulfill the role of crutches - and will not be right. Because the main imperial premise is precisely to deprive the subjectivity of all but the vertical. To any sprouts of life born in a state incubator. That extrasystem was impossible even on the level of personal experience.
And this is an indicative moment. Because modern Russia is an example of how a tool becomes a target. As the state ceases to be instrumental, it ceases to exist for the sake of its own citizens, but becomes self-sufficient. He begins to live for himself and for himself, burying under himself any attempt at activism and independence.
And is it any wonder that the Kremlin perceives its citizens only as cogs in the system. The lack of individuality - as the main criterion of quality. And even the very image of the Russian past is designed so that in it the state is above all, and the value of the individual is determined by its ability to be in the service of the vertical.
The Kremlin does not accidentally try to distance itself from modern Western models of existence. Because all these models deprive the Russian elite of a monopoly on power. They provide for a system of checks and balances that limit the right of the authorities to make mistakes. And because Moscow repeatedly tries to construct some kind of alternative.
Russia took away from the society the action "Immortal Regiment", which was invented as an alternative to the officialdom. I forbade jehovists who do not want to serve in the army. Turned policy into a controlled corral, access to which is carried out by the face-control level of loyalty and systemic.
And she tries to do the same with the Crimean Tatars.
Because the subjectivity of this people, its experience of life without the state and outside the state, serves as a threat to the vertical. And for three years now we've been seeing an operation called "tame and conquer". Prohibition of the Mejlis, the creation of pro-government alternatives, the transfer of any public events (from H?d?rlez to a mourning rally) under the state umbrella is the same policy of deprivation of subjectivity.
Ready to go to the agreed grief? Then you put flags and symbols. I decided to go with the flag of the city without a sovereign favor - prepare for the administrative protocol. The Kremlin does not know how to share powers, fearing the emergence of any dissonance in the orderly ranks of walking in the leg.
Ability to sing in chorus and rejoice on schedule. Absence of reflections as a virtue. Herd as an example of public life.
However, this system has an undeniable dignity. When everything falls under a slope - no one will come out to defend it. Because no one will give this order.
