The ban on the production and promotion of the St. George ribbon in Ukraine could not be accepted, replacing it with a more radical method.

Such an opinion on his Facebook page was expressed by Russian civil activist Pavel Shekhtman.

"In my opinion the law on the prohibition of St. George ribbons is incorrect. It should not be taken. It was necessary to adopt another law: ribbons are allowed to wear, but those who wear a ribbon are allowed to go unpunished, "he wrote.

As reported by the "Observer", earlier the Verkhovna Rada supported the bill number 2987, which provides for a ban on the production and propaganda of the St. George (Guards) tape in Ukraine.
