In Nizhny Tagil police officers in the hot pursuit of detained a criminal who robbed the store. The "Safe City" system helped them in this.

The incident occurred the day before. The suspect came to the store on the Chernoistochinsk highway and asked the seller for alcohol, which was refused, because the store does not sell alcohol. Then the buyer has typed products and cigarettes for 1400 rubles. The seller put the purchases in a package and called the amount, but realized that the buyer was not going to pay, and reached for the alarm button. Seeing this, the man snatched out a folding knife and climbed over the counter. The woman ran out of the store through the service exit and rang the police.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sverdlovsk region, police have studied the recording of security cameras, including the "Safe City". This allowed them to determine the brand and number of the car on which the intruder disappeared. In addition, the robber himself also lighted his face in front of the cameras. The offender was previously convicted for serious injuries 26-year-old local resident.

The car was detained by traffic police officers when it crashed into an obstacle on the road. Drunk driver was at the wheel, and the robber was sitting on the passenger seat. When inspecting the car's interior, a part of the goods stolen in the store was seized by policemen and then returned to the owner.

The police in relation to the detainee opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code (Robbery). He faces up to 8 years in prison.
