People's Artist of Ukraine Ivo Bobul responded to the public statement of his ex-wife, singer Lilia Sandulesa, that he allegedly persuaded her to have an abortion. The 72-year-old performer denied the loud accusation against him and emphasized: he lost all respect for his ex-girlfriend and finally “erased” her from his life.

According to the celebrity, he does not understand why Sandules decided to slander him in an interview, given how much he did to develop her career. Bobul commented on the resonant statement of his ex-wife in the project “Naodintsi with Glamor”.

After this interview, I stopped respecting Lilya at all, because there were so many lies there that I was simply amazed where she got it all from and why she did it.. I practically raised her from oblivion, took her on tour - two tours were very good,” said the artist.

And yet, Ivo Bobul has an idea as to what prompted Lilia Sanduleza to speak negatively about him: “I said that you need to take care of yourself. You're an artist, so you have to look good.. And be offended by this, and say such nonsense? I'm very upset. I broke ties with her, I don’t want to see, I don’t want to hear and I don’t want to know"
