Last year, the outstanding Ukrainian writer Lina Kostenko became the brand ambassador of designer Elvira Hasanova, which greatly surprised her fellow citizens, since she has been avoiding any public events for a long time. As the fashion designer revealed, agreeing on a collaboration with the poetess was not an easy task, but thanks to lengthy correspondence and an important concept for the collection, she managed to achieve success.

According to the founder of the Gasanova and Damirli brands, through friends she was able to get contacts of her daughter Lina Kostenko, with whom she actively communicated about possible work. The designer spoke about this in an interview with Eva Korshik.

" We knew we needed someone who was a legend. There was no one except Lina Kostenko. I wrote her daughter a straight diplomatic letter, balanced and judicious.. She replied that it was very interesting, but my mother hardly participates anywhere. We corresponded for several months. At a certain moment I even thought: “No, no,” the fashion designer recalled.

However, in the end, Elvira Hasanova agreed on a personal meeting with the poetess’s daughter in her boutique. The designer explained in detail why she wanted to collaborate with Lina Kostenko, after which they chose a specific date to record a video with the writer. But there were further adventures. The filming of the video was postponed several times, in particular due to the illness of the operator, but the collaboration still took place.

“We came with a team, we even took a makeup artist with us, so that suddenly we could do a little something. I was hoping it would last 10 minutes, we would record her reading a few lines that were important to us, and that would be it..

And she liked it so much that we recorded and re-recorded, took photographs, and then she wore a jacket from our collection,” said the designer.

Note that Lina Kostenko became the face of the CORE jewelry collection, developed in collaboration with the GASANOVA and SOLO for Diamonds brands, the main idea of \u200b\u200bwhich is to create a new legacy.
