Russian comedian Maxim Galkin performed with Ukrainian singer Svetlana Loboda at her friend’s birthday party. The artists entertained the guests of the private party, which took place in Dubai, with fiery dances and songs, some of which were written in nightingale.
For example, the legendary compositions “This Dream” by Stepan Giga and “Smereka” by Lyubomir Yakim were performed by celebrities.. Interestingly, Maxim Galkin sang the last hit especially for Loboda, slightly changing the words. The corresponding video was published on the social network TikTok.
The Russian showman decided to perform the chorus of Lyubomir Yakim’s track, replacing the word “smereka” with the name of his stage colleague. As a result, the lines came out of his mouth: “Oh, Svitlano. Tell me, Svetlano, why you grew so far away, my charming Svetlano." Memories from the private party appeared on Loboda’s Instagram page. The artist published many photographs with guests of the entertainment event, and of course, there was also a photo with Galkin. Svetlana Loboda showed how she and the comedian sang “This is your dream” and danced merrily.
It is worth noting that the unexpected duet caused a somewhat mixed reaction online.
Many users were pleasantly surprised to see such a collaboration of artists, so they left positive comments: “Incredible”, “How beautiful, how nice”, “Maxim and Svetlana are super”, “What a cool duet”.
However, some netizens had less positive emotions from what they saw.. The main negative was caused by the fact that Loboda continues to perform songs in Russian abroad, while a showman from the Russian Federation sings in Nightingale: “Galkin knows Ukrainian better than Loboda”.
