At first glance - an ordinary rural house with a red gate, a typical house in the Kiev region. But from here, from here, from a small village, the story of Vadim Yatsenko began - one of the most popular chormists of the country, who proved that the choir can be drive, fashionable and impressively alive.

In the plot " It was in this house that his love for the music began, which was given to him by his native women - mother and grandmother, participants in the local folklore ensemble " Their singing sounded at every holiday of the village, and little Vadim absorbed these melodies from the diapers.

Svetlana Yatsenko - the mother of the conductor - recalls: her son began to sing even before he spoke. She hummed his lullabies, and he, lying in the crib, repeated sounds behind her-" So his voice cut through. And the father, seeing this interest, cut out a wood microphone for the boy. This toy became loved - Vadim did not let her out of his hands day or night. Slept with a microphone, ate and played.

The mother of the conductor admits: as a child, sending his son to the metropolitan music school named after Lysenko was very difficult. He was only 9 years old, and he was terribly bored around the house. In the boarding school, he sculpted his home from plasticine, dreamed of his mother’s arms and thought he could no longer withstand. There were times when my mother wanted to take him home. Since then everything has changed. Vadim entered the Conservatory at the Faculty.

And then there was the first appearance on big television - " It is interesting that none of the coaches pressed the button - and Vadim admits that he felt relieved. After all, at this time he was already waiting for him in the Lviv Opera.

Today Vadim Yatsenko is the chief chief of the Lviv National Opera and the artistic director and soloist of the Homon choir in the Lviv organ hall. It was from there that the very video that broke the trends and forced the Ukrainians to look at the choir differently - as a modern, energetic art that can give goosebumps from the first chord.
