During an outsiddened arrival in Ukraine, Prince Harry met with paramedic Julia Paevskaya Thaiira, who since 2014 saved people in the Donbass, and in 2022 experienced Russian captivity. According to the volunteer, she received positive impressions of meeting with the Duke of Sussex, because he is a fairly calm, modest and sincere person.
The Ukrainian told about this on the personal page on Instagram. The paramedic shared a common photo with Prince Harry, on which they posed on a camera with wide smiles.
" And pain, and loss, and despair, and the machinations of death. But there are moments that break through the armor - even the one that has grown in layers of the front on each of us. In trenches, in intensive care and croaks. Prince Harry arrived without show -offs, without a motorcade, without a theater. Just became nearby - like one of us. A person who knows what loss is. What is to serve. And what does it mean to rise after falling. I was endlessly glad to hug him again - like the whole team of invictus. We are all together - those who did not just survive, but hold on, helps others to hold on and still joke in the process, ”the volunteer wrote.
It should be noted that Prince Harry served in the army of Great Britain for ten years. He was an aviation gunner in two combat missions in Afghanistan. When performing tasks, the Duke of Sussex lost several close friends. In 2014, Prince Harry founded the “INVICTUS Games” - an international sporting event in adaptive sports among veterans and military personnel who were injured.
By the way, it was thanks to these competitions that Tyra was able to get acquainted with the Duke of Sussex. In 2022, when the volunteer was released from Russian captivity, she held a personal telephone conversation with the youngest son of Charles III.
" He said that he supports Ukraine and all of us. And that the family of " I am very grateful to Prince Harry, because it was after the " I think that the dissemination of information around the world has affected their decision to exchange me, ”commented Ukrainian.
And already in 2023, the paramedic personally met Prince Harry. Julia Paevskaya participated in the Games of the Unconquered, where she won two medals. Then the Duke of Sussex personally handed the awards, who said during the solemn ceremony:
“I want to take advantage of the moment and pay attention to the Ukrainian team. And in particular for one special person - " I do not think that once I met the same bold and cheerful person like you "
Recall, Prince Harry secretly arrived in Ukraine on April 10. He visited the clinic for the treatment and prosthetics of the wounded military Superhumans Center in Lviv. Then the Duke of Sussex admitted: in his life he visited many rehabilitation centers, but nowhere did he meet places with a similar atmosphere.
