In New Zealand, at the age of forty, a blind bisexual goose named Thomas died, according to the Daily Mail. His story touched many locals: many years ago Thomas fell in love with a black swan named Henry - the couple spent 24 years together until the heart of a swan was conquered by a female Henrietta. Thomas did not find the strength to leave the family and for the next six years he helped the couple raise 68 small swans. In 2009, Henry died and Henrietta went to another, leaving Thomas mourned partner alone. However, soon he fell in love again - this time in the female of his species. They had children, but, unfortunately, the happiness did not last long - some time later the children were stolen by another goose named George.

After all the tragic events, Thomas's health began to deteriorate rapidly and he lost his sight, which put him at the Wellington Bird Rehabilitation Center, where he died. Thomas will be buried next to Henry at the lagoon, where they spent most of their life together. "Thanks to everyone who loved and cared about Thomas. He was a special boy with a wonderful character. Thomas, dear friend, we miss you with all our heart. Rest in peace, "- wrote the staff of the center. Cover: Wellington Bird Rehabilitation Trust / Facebook.
