The widow of the composer and People's Artist of Ukraine Igor Bilosir told how, after his death, relatives divided the inheritance and who own copyright.

The other day, the ex -wife of the artist Oksana Bilosir gave an interview to Glavkom, where she assured that the only heir to the late composer is their common son Andrey. According to the singer, it is precisely to him that, among other things, belong to the copyright to the work of his father. However, the second wife of Bilosir Olga Goshovskaya gave another version. She says that three heirs are the artist’s mother, she and son Andrey.

“All his property and creative treasure were shared between the three heirs. Igorevo housing, which in Lviv: 1/6 departed to Igoreva Mom Maria Ivanovna Bilosir; 1/6 - to me (then Olga Bilosir) as Igor’s wife, 4/6 - to the son of Igor and Oksana Bilozorov - Andrey, ”Olga wrote.

As for the creative heritage, he was also divided among themselves by the mother of the musician, the second wife and son. True, then Olga gave her share of her husband's sister. Meanwhile, Maria Ivanovna bequeathed to her granddaughter. So the rights to the songs of the musician belong to his son Andrei, sister Ruslan and niece of Victoria.

“The creative heritage was divided into three heirs in equal shares: 1/3. Igorova mother later, so that I can buy an apartment for myself, gives my share from Igor’s apartment to me. In gratitude, I gave 1/3 of my share of the right to Igor's creative heritage to his sister Ruslan Iosifovna Bilosir. Igorova Mom bequeathed her 1/3 copyright on the song of her son's granddaughter, daughter of Ruslan Bilosir Victoria Savchuk. Therefore, as of today, copyright for the songs and instrumental works of Igor Bilozor is owned by three people: Andrei Bilosir, Ruslan Bilosir, Victoria Savchuk, ”added the widow of the musician.

Olga Goshovskaya also noted another important point. The rights to the song belong not only to the composer, but also to the poets who prepared the text. In such cases, 50% of rights to the composition belong to Bilosir, and others - to the author of the lines. Then the heirs of the composer divide 50% in equal parts.

“Do not forget that the song has both music and words. And here we are already talking about copyright for a song of not only a composer, but also a poet. For example, the song " 50% of copyright belong to the poet Bogdan Stelmakh, the remaining 50% - three heirs of Igor Belozor in equal shares, ”added Goschovskaya.

Note that Oksana and Igor Bilosirs lived in marriage for 14 years, during which their son Andrei was born.

Two years after the divorce, the musician married Olga Goshovskaya. The composer’s life tragically broke off on May 28, 2000. On May 8, the musician was beaten by men who were drunk. They allegedly did not like the fact that he performed Ukrainian -speaking songs and prevented them from listening to Russian -speaking. From injuries, the composer died in the hospital.
