Singer Vitaly Kozlovsky, who spoke in Moscow on May 9, explained why he did it.

According to the artist, for him it is a special holiday. From childhood, the grandmother told the warrior about the war, and Vitaly's grandfather fought in Russia.

"I was repeatedly invited to Moscow and every time I categorically refused. But he allowed himself to go on May 9. Now I will explain why. My grandfather fought in Russia, went through the whole war. Since childhood, I have been told stories about the war, about how it was after the war, how they celebrated on May 9 then, in 1945. Earlier every year we went to the parade. Therefore, for this holiday, I always had a special relationship, "said Kozlovsky, writes" KP "in Ukraine".

At the same time, Kozlovsky admitted that he "recognizes his huge mistake". Like, he was focused on his work and "narrowly looked at the global political situation". Now, Vitali asserts, he understands that this whole situation was given to him in order to "understand everything and understand everything".

"To understand that an artist is not just a singer, or an actor, a person who stands apart from the global events in the country. This is primarily a conscious citizen of his country and an example for his fans, "- concluded from the speech in Moscow Kozlovsky.

According to Kozlovsky, the condition of his concert in the Russian capital was to declare him as "Honored Artist of Ukraine". The singer was afraid that he would be thrown with stones, but this did not happen.

"We still experienced with my team that we were stoned. But there no one threw stones at them, threw them at home. You go there with your own purpose, with your own thoughts, and people regard it quite differently. It seems to you that you are doing everything right, I did not consider it "evil", - the artist confessed.

From now on, Vitali says, having analyzed the situation, concerts in Russia, which is an aggressor country, for him are "unacceptable".

In addition, Kozlovsky said that he was paid not very much for the performance, but "the fee was the same as in Ukraine".

Vitali also shared that he was not deprived of the title of People's Artist, as required by the Lviv Regional Council.

"I was not deprived of any titles, because I did not violate any law of Ukraine. If there was a law that prohibits activities in the territory of the Russian Federation, then everyone would clearly know and understand what he is doing, for what and whether he should do it. There are no such laws, so millions of Ukrainians are leaving now, and I am a witness to this.. Every day a train Lviv-Moscow leaves, overflown airplanes fly through Minsk. But then again, I'd rather talk about myself. Some kind of discrimination in the country.

For some reason, some people go to them - nothing, and others, like me, went to pay tribute to their grandparents, and they were branded. The rules should be the same for all ", - the performer is sure.

Recall that on May 9, Vitaliy Kozlovsky unexpectedly spoke in the Russian capital Moscow. After this concert the singer was canceled performance in Lviv, Kiev and Odessa. But Vitali himself claims that he himself canceled his speech, "because there were threats from" patriots ". Kozlovsky said that he did not want his fans "to witness what was happening at the concerts of his colleagues".
