During the filming of the grandiose show A great New Year adventure, host of the program Says Ukraine Alexei Sukhanov in an exclusive interview to the TV site. UA told how it usually celebrates the New Year and its formula for success.

This year you took part in the filming of the "Great New Year's Adventure". What impressions did you get from this?.

For me, the New Year is a holiday that I do not know, with which you can compare. It is a holiday №1, therefore I, perhaps, so is carried away and admired. This show is simply splendor: both stunning Vinnik, and humor, and the New Year scenario. It seems to me that it will be very interesting.

Why should the show be watched by all Ukrainians?.

Because it is emotional and really New Year's, there are a lot of fairytales, there are we, the leading channel "Ukraine" and very talented artists. Everything is done in order to celebrate the New Year under the show.

Do you have any special New Year traditions?.

The tradition has developed over the last 3 years: I meet the New Year in Kiev, and then, on January 1, I am going to Jurmala.

How do you usually celebrate?.

I love to celebrate New Year at home, so it's cozy. I do not really like noisy places. At home I cook myself something delicious, and then just enjoy.

Do you have any interesting story related to the celebration of the New Year?.

About ten years ago the following story happened to me: I bought food for the holiday table in the afternoon, everything was prepared for Olivier in the evening, it was left to be filled with mayonnaise. And then I realize that I forgot to buy it. I look at the clock - 23:30, and in the city only one working 24-hour store. No options - go to the store. And there I met a longtime friend who forgot about green peas. Until midnight there were only 5 minutes: we exchanged glances and silently headed for the alcohol department, bought champagne and met the New Year in the store, making a gift to employees from two regular customers. And "Olivier" I still seasoned with mayonnaise, only later, in the New Year.

Do you make a wish on New Year's Eve in a certain way?.

Probably and I think, but you will not talk about it. I guess and everything, and I wait, while it will be executed.

You as a successful person can share their formula for success?.

I believe that everyone has their own choice, but in my opinion, you need, first, to believe in yourself. In addition, you need not only to be able, but also to work, work and again work. This is my personal formula for success.
