The lyrics of the song mention real cities and events, and the chorus appeared almost immediately along with the phrase “I love you in Kyiv, it’s depressing”. The musicians doubted whether to leave the word “depressing”, because in their work they tried to talk about light and love. At the same time, no other formulation, according to them, sounded so sincere.

Before the release, the song was played live during concerts, but it could not be found on streaming. The track was officially released on February 13, after Klimenko’s death..

The ADAM group was founded in 2015 by the couple Mikhail Klimenko and Sasha Norova. The line-up also includes guitarist Maxim Kozachenko, drummer Andrey Gritsenko and sound engineer Vyacheslav Shevchenko. The songs “Slow” and “Au Au” brought the band the greatest popularity.. Mikhail Klimenko died at the age of 38 on December 7, 2025 as a result of tuberculous meningitis.
