“After February 24, I deliberately switched to Ukrainian, because I don’t want to be the person whom the invaders came to “liberate”. I understand that it is difficult for someone to do this, but if it is not difficult for our fighters to protect us, then why should it be easy for us to communicate in Russian?
Let it be better to make some effort and speak your native language,” says Natalia Denisenko, Ukrainian theater, film and dubbing actress, announcer, director and TV presenter.
