Kharkiv residents will see unique photos of the pre-revolutionary city

May 4 at the Kharkov Art Museum (ul.. The Myrrh-bearers, 11) the photo exhibition "Kharkiv. City. People. Time". As the organizers told SQ, copies of photographs of the pre-revolutionary Kharkov and its inhabitants. Photographs are unique in that they capture a city in such a way that it will never be.

Vasily Dosekin, Alexei Ivanitsky, Alfred Fedetsky, Yaroslav Pitsuk and about thirty less well-known Kharkov photographers.

The works of these masters were gathered under one roof by their contemporary colleague, the author of the project, the well-known Kharkov photo artist Vladimir Ogloblin.

At the exhibition there will be many portraits. Famous and devoted to oblivion Kharkiv. Many of these photos were not intended for wide public viewing, because they were exclusively in family albums. Almost all the photographs from which copies were made for the exhibition were provided to Ogloblin by local collectors and descendants of famous Kharkov surnames - Beketov, Bagaliya, Ivanitsky, Deribo and many others.
