All 2018 will be devoted to ensuring that as many people as possible learn about the richest European cultural heritage.

The aim of the project is to tell about different manifestations of culture in Europe, from traditional songs to modern architecture, notes EuroPulse. The organizers hope that this initiative will help rally the Europeans and give them common points of support. Representatives of EU countries will elaborate a long-term plan for the development of European culture and cultural heritage.

The overwhelming majority of Europeans take pride in their cultural heritage and believe that cultural and historical heritage sites make their lives better. In Europe, there are about half of the total UNESCO World Heritage List - 453 objects.
