Famous Ukrainian TV presenter and journalist Konstantin Grubich told which of his celebrity friends gave him the greatest support after his son was wounded. 28-year-old Yaroslav lost his arm at the front while serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yaroslav was mobilized in June 2025, but a month later he was seriously wounded. Now the family is focused on his treatment and upcoming prosthetics. During the premiere of “The Guardians of Christmas,” Grubich spoke about the tragedy he experienced in a commentary for the YouTube project “Naodintsi with Glamor”.

Konstantin noted that he received many messages with words of support from friends, colleagues and fans, but the greatest support he received was from Ukrainian actress Rimma Zyubina. The TV star recalled that Zyubina was one of the first to call him after Yaroslav’s injury became known.

Grubich added that the connection between him and Rimma is very deep, and recalled the tragedy of 2014, when his youngest daughter Olga died in a traffic accident. Zyubina was among those who supported the family, taking them to monasteries.

“I won’t say that they called because they wrote. I was a little in a fog then and I can’t name everyone, but probably everyone I know. But an important conversation was on the first day when it became publicly known, Rimma Zyubina called and we had a good talk. She was one of the first who took us to monasteries when our daughter died, and here she showed up. We may not see her for years, but the fact that we are kindred spirits is for sure,” Konstantin shared.
