Well-known Ukrainian TV and radio presenter Slava Demin has declassified that sometimes media figures or their PR people approach him with a request for an interview and offer money for it.. In a commentary for the TSN project “Naodintsi with Glamor,” the journalist explained that he interviews only those who will be interesting to his audience.

“From time to time we get such proposals from PR people, media people, not so media people. It is important here that this person who would like me to interview him, that he is suitable and interesting to my audience. I won't interview someone who gets 5,000 views, but they'll pay me money.. Well, it's not about money here.. It is important for me to still show the audience and definitely convey my opinion. My opinion and well, the main thing in my interviews is to communicate more with your children.

But, perhaps, you will see, in the example of famous media people, some mistakes, or, for example, on the contrary, advantages in raising your children. Well, they offered, it’s close there, if I’m not mistaken, $4,000. Well that's a lot. Well, look, within the minimum wage in Ukraine, yes, this is a lot, but within the framework, if you take television and digital projects, well, this is probably the average price there. [It costs] on average about 20,000 UAH to film one interview,” Slava shared.
