In 2018, a new mechanism for subsidizing the transport of tourists to popular Russian resorts, which is being developed by the Russian Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Culture, may begin to operate, the Izvestia newspaper reports..

It is specified that the subsidies will go from the federal budget to tour operators who will purchase places for tourist groups on regular and charter flights of airlines, as well as for transportation by rail.

It is noted that the prices of these tours for consumers in the end can be reduced by about 10%. As it became known, at the first stage of the subsidy it is planned to introduce for recreation at the sea resorts of the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea. It's about allocating a billion rubles.

Recall, in international practice such an experience of subsidizing already exists. In particular, we are talking about Turkey and Israel. There, tour operators receive money for each traveled tourist.
